a. Teacher of The Year Award
The Teacher of the Year award honors outstanding teachers who have made outstanding contributions for their students and school. The teachers are nominated by the school governing board and ten finalists are chosen. The winner of this award will be chosen from entire Asia-Pacific and receive the award from the President of the Foundation.
b. Long Service Award
Each Year, the Foundation honors teachers and instruction support staff for completing long service at GIIS. Teachers/ staff who complete 5 years at GIIS are honored with the "5 Year Long Service Award".
c. Instructional Support Employee of the Year Recognition Award
Instructional Support employees are recognised each year for their outstanding contributions to the School and Foundation. The nominations for these awards are made by the School Governing Board and the awards are given by the President of the Foundation.
d. Distinguished Minority Educator of the Year Awards Dinner
Each school may nominate an individual who they think embodies the pioneering spirit of Minority Educator. Someone who has made tremendous efforts in his/her school and community to support minority students and encourage their academic success.
e. Scholarship Reception
Each year, thanks to the generosity of corporations, civic groups and individuals, the Global Indian Foundation is able to offer scholarships for Kindergarten, Primary School, Secondary School and Junior College.
